How to Detect Mobile Browsers (11 Steps)
Download the 'Detect Mobile User Agents & Browsers' PHP script by clicking on the link located in the 'Resources' section below. The downloaded file is compressed. Double-click on it to open your default extraction program and extract the files to your desktop.
Open an FTP (File Transfer Protocol) program and log in to your website's hosting account by typing in your FTP address, username, and password. Once you have connected to your hosting server, use the FTP program to upload the 'mobile_device_detect.php' file that you extracted in step 1. Upload it to the root directory of your website where your 'index.html' or 'index.php' file resides.
Use the FTP program to download the 'index.html' or 'index.php' file from your website and save it on your desktop. Open the file in a text editor such as Notepad or Wordpad.
Open a web browser and type 'http://detectmobilebrowsers.mobi/" into the address bar, then press the ENTER key. Alternately, you can click the 'Detect Mobile Browsers Website' link in the 'Resources' section below.
Scroll down to the 'Function Generator' heading. Here we will generate a PHP function code that will define how the PHP code file we uploaded in step 2 will behave. Choose an option from the respective drop-down menus for 'Detect iPhones,' 'Detect iPads,' 'Detect Android Devices,' 'Detect Opera Browsers,' 'Detect Blackberry Devices,' 'Detect Palm Mobiles' and 'Detect Windows Mobile Devices'. Each drop-down menu will allow you to specify whether to treat the device browser like a mobile browser or a standard desktop browser. You may also choose to redirect a device type to a custom URL, which must be typed into the text field that appears below the drop-down menu when you choose the 'Redirect (device) to a specific URL' option.
Choose an option from the 'Redirect Mobile Browsers' drop-down menu. Any devices that were set in the above options to be treated like a mobile browser will be affected by this option. You can redirect mobile users to a custom URL where there is a mobile browser-optimized version of your website or choose not to redirect them, which will allow them to access the standard website. Type the mobile-optimized website URL into the provided text box.
Set the 'Redirect Desktop Browsers' drop-down menu to 'No - Do not redirect desktop visitors - function will return false' to allow desktop browser users to access the standard website. Any devices that were set in the above options to be treated like desktop browsers will be affected by this option.
Click the 'Generate Code' button. Highlight the text that appears in the 'PHP Code' box and press CTRL+C on your keyboard to copy the text to your clipboard. Minimize your web browser so you can see the 'index.html' or 'index.php' file you opened in the text editor in step 3.
Create a blank line at the beginning of the text document by clicking your mouse at the top of the document and pressing the ENTER key. Place your cursor on the blank line and type '
' and press ENTER again.
Click on the 'File' menu at the top of the text editor and choose 'Save'. In the FTP program window, copy the edited 'index.html' or 'index.php' file back to the root directory of your website, overwriting the original file.
Access your website from a mobile device browser. You should be redirected to you mobile-optimized website. Access your website from a standard browser to make sure that you are directed to the standard website.

Choose settings and then the look for your counter.
Select (highlight) and copy the Javascript code the Web host puts on the screen for you.
Open Dreamweaver and open the Web page you want to add the hit counter to.
View the HTML code for your page by clicking the 'CODE' button at the top of the window, then click at the location where you want the counter to appear. Usually counters are placed at the bottom of the page above the closing 'BODY' tag.

How to Change Your Domain Hosting
Research alternative Web hosting companies to find a service offering the features you need for your website at the best price.
Open an account with a new Web hosting company.
Log into your account with your current Web host.
Download all of your files from the host's server using the backup tool offered in the Web host's control panel or an FTP client application. Be sure to download all of your files. This includes any HTML files, picture files, audio files, flash files, INC files, CSS files, and so forth.
Back up your blog and Web forum database (if applicable) using a MySQL administration tool such as phpMyAdmin.
Log into your account with your new Web hosting company.
Obtain the DNS server information for the new Web hosting company. You will need this information later to update your DNS records to point to this new Web host server.
Upload all of the files for your website (downloaded in Step 4) to the new host's server.
Install the backup copy of your blog and forum database (created in Step 5) to the new host's server using their MySQL administration tool.
Log into your account with your original Web hosting company. Navigate to the Domain Name manager tool offered in the host's control panel. Edit your DNS records to reflect the server name associated with your new Web host. Submit the update. It can take up to 24 hours for the DNS records update to take effect globally. During this time your website will go off-line.
Visit your website. Check everything out to make sure all your Web pages have migrated successfully, the design elements of the site are still in tact, the website forum and blog are functioning properly, and so forth. Only after you're certain everything with your website is as it's supposed to be should you move on to the next step because you have mistakenly neglected to backup a stray file or two.
Cancel your account with your Web hosting company.

How to Make an Online Radio Station for Free (3 Steps)
Use the software ubroadcast to broadcast online. Ubroadcast allows you to set up an online radio station for free and broadcast live. However, other users must download the ubroadcast client before they can listen to your station.
Set up a Shoutcast broadcasting server. Shoucast is a free program that also allows for online radio broadcasting. Shoutcast allows you to either broadcast directly from your own computer, or from a third-party Shoutcast host that hosts your program on its servers. It does not require special software for listeners to use.
Create a podcast using sound software such as Audacity and use a podcast hosting service such as MyPodCast to host the podcast. While not a live Internet broadcast, Podcasts have an advantage in that they can be downloaded to the PC and played back anytime, unlike a radio broadcast, which can only be heard once unless you record it.
