How to Remove a Joomla Powered Site (5 Steps)
Uninstall all Joomla extensions before removing the actual back-end software. If you do not have any extensions, skip to Step 3. To uninstall extensions, login to Joomla. If you do not remember your Joomla login information, consult the confirmation email you received when installing the software. This email contains the personalized link that will allow you to sign-in to the Joomla service.
Click the drop-down menu in the left-hand side of your Joomla screen. Select 'Extensions' from the menu. Click the name of each extension that you have running. Joomla will then display the extension's settings page. Click the uninstall icon, which looks like a trash can. Joomla will alert you when the uninstall process is complete. Repeat for each extension.
Launch your FTP software (e.g., Cyberduck for Mac or Fetch for Windows PCs). Login to your web host server. Wait for the FTP software to load a list of all of the files and folders for the web site. Right-click the folder entitled 'Joomla' and select 'Delete' from the pop-up menu. This will delete all of the program files for the software.
Login to your web host account and access the MySQL database page. The location of this setting varies according to your web host provider. If you are unsure of where to find the settings for your databases, contact the customer service department at the hosting company.
Delete the database you used to operate Joomla. Joomla is now completely uninstalled.

How to Set Up Split DNS (7 Steps)
Go to the Windows server computer hosting the pages and hostname for which you want to create a split DNS. Click “Start” and enter “Services.msc” in the search box. Press the “Enter” key. The Services window appears on the screen.
Scroll down to the “Domain Name Server (DNS)” listing. Double-click the service name. In the DNS Properties window, click the “Startup type” drop-down list and select “Automatic.” Click the “Start” button, then “OK.” Restart the server computer and wait for it to boot into Windows.
Click “Start,” “All Programs,” “Administrative Tools” and then “DNS.” In the server list, right-click the name of the Windows server machine, and then click “Properties” on the popup list.
Click the “Forwarders” tab. Add the IP address of the remotely hosted machine on in the “All Other DNS Domains” area. This causes regular HTTP requests from outer-world network computer to redirect to the IP address of the server hosted by your hosting provider or ISP. Click the “Add” button.
Enter and add additional ISP IP address as needed. Click the “Apply” button to save the DNS changes.
Click the “Internal NAT IP Addresses” tab. Enter the IP address of a server computer on your network hosting Web services meant only for internal use or viewing. For instance, if the computer is on the same internal network, you might enter “192.168.0.2” or “10.0.0.2” depending on the IP scheme your network uses. If the services run from the server computer on which you are working, enter “127.0.0.1” in the field and click “OK.” Note that if the service uses a specific port -- for instance port 118 -- enter the local IP address in the “192.168.0.2:118” format.
Click “Apply,” and then restart the server. Wait for the server computer to restart and boot into Windows. Setup of the split DNS service is complete.

How to Transfer Domain Name Ownership to Another Person
First you need to carefully sit your margarita down. Be careful not to slosh it onto your laptop or get any sand down in the keyboard. This will only take a few minutes and you can go back to living large. The next thing you need to is log into your godaddy.com account in order to manage your domain names.
After you are logged in, hover your mouse over the 'domains' part of the menu. Then select 'My Domains' from the drop down menu. This will take you to the domain manager where you can view all of the domains that you have registered. Chances are if you have made a fortune on the internet you will see several domains listed that are generating you some nice passive income. Carefully select the domain name that you need to transfer by clicking on the box to the left of the domain name.
Now that a domain name is selected the control menu will become available. Choose 'Account Change' from the menu. A new menu will appear where you must enter the new registrant's customer number or login. You must also enter the new registrant's email address. Once complete click the next button to continue.
The next menu will ask you to confirm details about the organization you are transferring your domain to. You will need to fill in details on the organization's name, first and last name of your contact, the new company's address and their phone number.
After this information is entered you will be shown a list of the godaddy.com services that will be canceled when the domain is transferred. Please review that list carefully because it cannot be reversed once the transaction is completed.
Next you will see the 'Domain Name Change Registrant Agreement'. Read through this document and confirm that you have read and agree to the details listed. Then confirm that you do want to transfer the domain and click 'Finish'.
Godaddy will then send a transaction ID and a security code to the new registrant of your old domain name. They will have about 10 days to act on the transfer before the ID and security code expires.

How to Put an E
Download a free PDF converter software program to help turn your document into a PDF e-book format. Programs that contain this conversion feature include CutePDF Writer by Acro Software, doPDF by Softland or PrimoPDF by Nitro PDF (see Resources). Install the software on your hard drive.
Open the word processing document that you need converted to a PDF e-book format. Click the 'Print' option from the 'File' menu. Select your PDF converter software program from the 'Printer Name' drop-down box. Click 'OK' in the Print dialog box. Select a folder or computer directory location from the 'Save As' drop-down menu. Click 'Save' to have your e-book saved as a PDF document on your hard drive.
Open your Internet browser and go to your website hosting's administration page or control panel. Enter the appropriate username and password to log in.
Click on the File Manager or FTP section of your web hosting control panel. Highlight the appropriate 'index.html' folder or location to which you want your e-book uploaded by clicking once on its name.
Click on 'Upload' or the particular button used to add new files from your computer. Click the 'Browse' button to search for files on your computer. Find your e-book document file and double-click it to add it to the list of files to be uploaded to your website. Click the 'Finish' or 'Upload' button in your web hosting's file manager or FTP utility to have your e-book file sent to your web host's server.

Test the uploaded e-book file on your website. Log out of your website control panel. Type in your site's URL into the Internet browser's address bar and press 'Enter.' Find the spot where you uploaded your e-book and click the PDF file. If uploaded correctly, and assuming your browser contains a PDF reader, a browser window opens and your e-book appears.
