How to Make a Badge for a Blog (6 Steps)

Go to a free online badge generator where you can pick out the text, size and colors of your badge.
Open a graphic editing program such as Adobe Photoshop. If you don't already have a good graphic editing program, you can download a free trial of Photoshop or a free, open source program such as Paint.NET.
Create a new file in your program that is 125 pixels wide by 125 pixels high. This is the standard size of a blog badge. Do this by choosing the size when you create the new document.
Open the file that holds the logo for your blog, or create one if you don't have it. Right click and 'Copy' the image from your site, or simply type the name of your blog on the new file that you created. Find a freeware image or clip art to add to your badge. Make sure that however you decorate it, it represents the look and theme of your blog.
Save the badge to your computer when you are satisfied with it. Make sure you save it with a file extension of .jpg, .png or .gif. These extensions are the ones that are used the most often for badges. Go to a free image-hosting site and upload your badge. When you upload it, the badge will have a URL so you can put it on the sidebar of your blog for people to use. If you have a domain that is hosted on your own server, you can upload the badge with an FTP program or from the online file directory in your host's control panel.
Put the badge on your side bar with a line of HTML code. If you uploaded your badge to a free image-hosting website, it will most likely give you the code you need for your badge to show up. If you uploaded to your own server, use this code to place your badge on the sidebar of your blog (replacing 'yourdomain' and 'yourbadge' with the correct names):

How to Change OWA Web Addresses (10 Steps)

Access the Windows desktop on the server hosting OWA.
Click 'Start,' click 'Run,' type 'inetmgr' (minus the quotes) into the Run dialog box and press 'Enter' to open IIS Manager on the Windows server. This method will work no matter which version of Windows server you are using.
Right-click the 'Sites' folder within IIS Manager and click 'Add Web Site.'
Type in the site name. This can be whatever you would like but should be easily recognizable to you. For example, 'Outlook Web Access' would clearly indicate the purpose of the site.
Click 'Select' next to the Application Pool dialog box.
Choose 'MSExchangeOWAAppPool' from the drop-down list and click 'OK.'
Browse to the physical path of OWA in the Physical Path box by clicking 'Browse.' Your OWA physical path is selected when initially installing Microsoft Exchange.
Choose 'https:' under the Type selection box. You can leave the IP address as 'All Unassigned,' and you can leave the port as 80. This is the default web port address.
Enter a host name. This is your new OWA URL, so choose carefully and do not neglect the 'www,' should you choose to have a 'www.'
Ensure that 'Start Web site immediately' is checked and press 'OK.'

How to Sell Server Space

Set up your web server. You can either build one, purchase one, or rent space on an existing web server. Next you will need to insure the server is connected to a high speed internet connection with a dedicated ip address. Then purchase a domain name and configure name servers such as ns1.yourdomain.com and ns2.yourdomain.com. This will allow those buying web server space from you to point their domains to your web server. Ensure the necessary programs and software are installed, such as the Linux Operating System, Apache Server software, PHP programming environment, and MySQL databases.
Select your administration software. One of the most automatic and easy to use web server administration software is the combination of cPanel and Web Host Manger (WHM). This will allow you to quickly and easily setup new web sites on your server, perform administrative tasks, as well as give limited control and configuration to your customers.
Set up hosting packages. You should create different price points for different packages which include different features and level of storage space and bandwidth. This can be easily done with WHM. Make sure to assign the correct package when setting up a new site for a customer. Changes or upgrades can be easily made as well.
Create a web site to advertise, display the pricing and details of each package, and to take credit card orders is an effective and helpful way to bring in new customers. Create language about support, terms of conditions, ways to order, information about your company, and more.
Set up a PayPal account to accept credit card payments. One of the most cost effective and easiest ways to accept recurring monthly billing through credit cards is with PayPal subscriptions. Creating a PayPal account is free with a 3 to 5 percent fee charged to each order. PayPal is a commonly used method and allows for purchase with a PayPal account, credit card, or debit card. When configured correctly the order will automatically bill each month, year, or whatever period you set up. You can easily email an invoice with a payment link or embed the payment link into your web site.
Create or rent a daily backup solution so that your data and those of your clients are protected from any viruses, hacker attempts, or hardware or software failures. Explain your backup policy to your customers in your terms of agreement and determine any potential problems or limitations ahead of time.
Set up a fee structure for additional services. This includes advanced support, site or data restoration, custom coding, custom configuration, web design, and more. By offering these additional services you can increase your income and continue to meet the needs of your customers.

How to Teach an Online Course using WordPress

Develop your content for the course. You can follow the instructions in my related article, How to Develop a Training Course (link in Resources below) or follow your own template for curriculum design. It is important to create the entire course in a word processing program first. The entire course will consist of reading assignments, links to Websites, discussion questions, detailed instructions for assignments and instructions for the instructor on how and when to post various components of the course.
Open a new blog on WordPress.com (link in resources below) or other free blog hosting site. Create the first page of the blog. This will be the landing page for your students so include the course description here as well as instructions about how to access the remainder of the course. The content on this page is considered to be static, it should not change after the course starts.
When you are on the editing site for this first page there are some things to remember to do:
Password protect the page. This is to make sure that no-one can access the site without your permission (and without paying tuition).
Turn off the comments part of the page. You do not want students to comment here. You want to contain the comments in specific pages set up for discussion.
Post your photo and contact information on this first page, which is usually called the Home page of the blog.
