How to Find the Absolute Path in a Website
Click on any link on a Web page using a relative path. Provided the link is properly coded, the page opens. Highlight the URL in the address bar of your Web browser and copy it by pressing 'Ctrl-C' to copy the link's absolute path. If the link doesn't work, you may still be able to get the absolute path.
Examine the URL in the address bar and fix any obvious typos, like a double 'http,' a 'wwww' instead of 'www' or two slashes instead of one. If the link automatically redirected you to an error page, open a text editor and paste the code there to examine it. Once a typo is fixed, the link should work, giving you the absolute path.
Copy the URL in the address bar of the source page. Paste this in a new line in your text editor. If it ends in 'html,' delete everything after the last '/.' If it ends in 'com' or '.org' or any other domain extension, type a '/' at the end and then type the rest of the relative path. For example, if the main URL was 'http://.example.com/page.html," and the relative path was '/folder/page.html,' you should now have 'http://example.com/folder/page.html." Copy and paste this into your Web browser address bar to see if it works. If it does, you've found the link's absolute path.
Click on other links in the source Web page and examine the URLs in the address bar. Websites, like the files on your computer, are usually stored in folders and sub-folders. Every folder begins and ends with a '/.' If a developer has mistyped a folder name, correct it and try the link again. If the developer has moved a page, you may be able to determine in which folder the page you are looking for belongs. For example, if the bad link includes an '/images/' folder, while and the other images are in an '/image/' folder, you can simply delete the 's' to get the correct path.

How to Make a Clan Website
Sign up for Web hosting with the host of your choice. Examples of popular paid hosts include Hostgator, HostMonster, and GoDaddy. There are also free Web hosts such as Webs or Wordpress.
Install a free content management system such as Wordpress or Joomla. Content management systems act as platforms for your website---you can manage your website's content and appearance with ease using these systems. These systems eliminate the hassle of manually editing and configuring each of your web pages, which is why millions of websites use them. Your Web host has a tool that automatically installs these systems for you. If you are having trouble finding it, contact customer support. (Keep in mind that Wordpress Web hosting comes pre-installed with the Wordpress content management system.) Installation is very straightforward and should take no more than a minute or two---just follow the instructions.
Navigate to your content management system admin panel login page. The link for this page is provided for you after installation. Log in with the credentials you provided at installation.
Add content to your website using your CMS. You have the option of creating new Web pages, publishing posts, and more. Wordpress has a text/HTML (HyperText Markup Language) editor built into it. You may wish to publish an application for aspiring members to fill out, general clan information, and upcoming events. Ultimately, you are the webmaster---it is up to you to decide what to publish on your site.
Personalize your website. Wordpress and Joomla both have highly customizable widgets that you can drag and drop into various parts of the Web page. They also have visual themes that instantly change the appearance of your entire website. In addition, they have plug-ins that allow you to add additional functions to your website----for example, the 'Akismet' plug-in filters out spam comments from appearing on your website.

Go to Networksolutions.com. You will see a tab on the top righthand side of the page that says 'Manage Account.' Below 'Manage Account' is a dropdown menu, and the first option is 'Log In.' Click on 'Log In.' This will take you to the account management page, where you will see a log-in area where you can put in your user id and password. Below the password option is a link that reads 'I've forgotten my user id or password.'
Click on the link that reads 'I've forgotten my user id or password.' You will be automatically directed to a new page that gives you the option to retrieve your password or user id. On the righthand side of the page, there is a box with information on how to retrieve your user id. This can be done either by providing the email address that you used to register the domain name or by entering your domain name.
Type in your domain name in the box provided and click the 'retrieve user id' button. A new page will appear that will show both the primary contact as well as the technical contact. There are two circular buttons on the page, one for the primary contact and one for the technical contact. Click on the primary contact and click 'continue.' Once you click 'continue,' a page will appear that provides you with the option to have your user id sent to your email address on file or to update your email address via fax in the event that your address is no longer valid. Assuming that your email address is valid, simply click on the option to have your user id emailed to you and click the 'continue' button. Your request will then be confirmed and your user id will be automatically emailed to you. In the event that you do not see it straight away in your inbox, be sure to check your spam or junk folder to see if it went there by mistake.
Select the option to update your email address via fax in the event that your previous email address no longer works or is outdated and click the 'continue' button. You'll be asked for your new email address and to provide a telephone number. Click the 'go' button and continue to follow the instructions to update your email address via fax.
Write down your user id once you have obtained it and save it in your email as well for future reference. In the event that you encounter and problems trying to retrieve your user id or need further assistance, click on the Network Solutions Customer service page (see Resources). The customer service page includes both online customer service information as well as telephone numbers for both United States and International customers.
