How to Plan Family Meetings (9 Steps)
Set a time that works for everyone involved. A Sunday evening before the beginning of the new week is one possibility. Families normally have meetings each week or every other week. Family meetings shouldn’t run longer than about 45 minutes. If you have younger kids, it's a good idea to keep the first few meetings between 10 and 20 minutes, then gradually increase the time so they can get used to sitting through the meetings according to the article '10 Tips for Successful Family Meetings' on Colorado State University's website.
Choose a comfortable location for the meetings such as the dining or living room. It’s a good idea to have family meetings in the same location each week, but don’t shy away from picking a fun location away from home if you’ve had a tense week. A pizza place or ice cream parlor are easy, fun locations.
Plan the agenda for your meeting and keep it consistent. It might include sharing and coordinating schedules, complimenting each other, discussing and solving problems, a fun activity and information on the next family meeting.
Design and post a chart showing the agenda ahead of time so everyone knows what to expect. Keep the chart up as a reminder.
Discuss and write down rules before the meeting. Possible rules include everyone gets a chance to talk, no interrupting and no putting others down. At the first meeting you might also explain using “I” rather than “You” statements to avoid blaming others. For example, “I feel frustrated when you do x, y, z,” is better than saying, “You make me frustrated when you do x, y, z.”
Designate a leader for the first couple meetings, ideally a responsible adult family member. After that, it’s important to rotate the role so everyone feels they're involved. Adults can help younger family members who aren’t quite ready to lead on their own. Other roles you might consider are a secretary to keep notes and a time keeper to make sure the meetings run on time.
Plan activities to help younger children share their ideas. They might draw a picture of what they want to do or give something special to someone as a compliment.
Gather supplies for the meeting. A family calendar where you can make notes of weekly activities and family meetings, a list of activities, paper and a pen are all supplies to have handy.
Plan a fun activity for after the family meeting. This ensures the meeting ends on a good note and encourages more bonding.

How to Enable CURL on Go Daddy
Type the IP number of your GoDaddy VPS or dedicated server followed by a (:) and the number '2087' into your browser window to access your cPanel. For example, if your server IP number is 195.195.255.255, type '195.195.255.255:2087.' Wait a few seconds for your cPanel login page to appear. If you receive a security error message, click the prompt that allows you to disregard the error and proceed to your cPanel homepage.
Enter your cPanel root user name and your password in the appropriate fields in the login box. Click the 'Login' button at the bottom of the box. Wait a few seconds for the cPanel home page to appear.
Type the word 'easy' into the 'Find' box at top of the left sidebar of your cPanel home page and click the 'x' in the square next to the box. Click 'Easy Apache (software update)' in the search results that you see.
Wait a moment or so for the Apache profile screen to appear. Make sure that the radio button for 'Previously Saved Config' is selected by default unless you wish to make other changes to your PHP configuration. Additional changes are not recommended unless you are experiencing problems with your hosted sites.
Click the 'Start customizing based on profile' box, which is furthest to the right at the bottom of the 'Profile' page.
Click the 'Next step' box at the bottom of the 'Apache version' page as soon as it appears. Do not change anything on this page.
Click the 'Next step' box at the bottom of the 'PHP major version' screen as soon as it appears without making any changes.
Click the 'Next step' box at the bottom of the 'PHP minor version' screen when it appears. Do not make any changes to this page.
Scroll down to the bottom of the 'Short options list' as soon as it appears. Click the 'Exhaustive options list' at the bottom right of the 'Short options list' page.
Scroll down on the 'Exhaustive options list' page until you see an entry for 'cURL,' which is preceded by a check box; check the check box. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click the 'Save and build' box at the bottom right.
Click the 'Yes' button in the 'Confirm action' box when it appears in the center of your screen and then click 'I understand' in the confirmation box.
Wait until you see the green 'Build Complete!' message at the top of your browser screen above the log of the changes you've made to your server. This can take an hour or more, depending upon how much data is stored on your server. Do not interrupt the process or you will lose valuable data.
Click 'Home' in the left corner of the screen to return to the cPanel home page, if you wish to carry out other maintenance tasks. Exit cPanel by closing the browser window.

How to Tell Who Is Hosting a Website
Launch your Web browser and navigate to an online Web hosting search utility. (See Resources.)
Locate the search box on the Web hosting tool's home page. This is usually prominent and at the top of the page.
Enter the Web address for the website you wish to find the host for in the search box. Include the 'www' prefix on the website address. You can include the 'http://' part of the address, but it's not usually necessary.
Click 'Search' and wait for the search tool to find and return the correct Web host for the site.
Read the details for the Web hosting company in the search results pane. This usually includes a link to the Web host's own website so that you can contact the company directly. Or, copy and note down the information for future reference.

How to Upload Word Documents to a Web Page (5 Steps)
Log in to your web hosting account and access your 'File Manager.' Navigate to your 'Home' directory. Click the 'Upload' link.
Click the 'Browse' button and select your Word file from your hard drive. Click the 'Open' button. Wait a few moments for your file to be uploaded, then return to your home directory.
Check the box next to the name of the page into which you wish to insert a link to the document. For example, if you want visitors to your homepage to be able to access the document, choose the file 'index.html' from your file manager. Click the 'Edit' button.
Insert a link to your Word document within the HTML. For example, if you paste the test 'Click here to view my Microsoft Word document.' into your HTML, users who visit your website will be able to access your Word document by clicking on the word 'here.' Insert the text of your choice and click 'Save.'

How to Start Your Own Fantasy Website
Build your website using pen and paper. Think about what pages you will want your fantasy website to have, including a message board, if you like. Draw a rectangle for the home page (where visitors first arrive) and draw subsequent rectangles to represent the other pages, such as 'about us' or 'contact us' or 'links.'
Design your primary navigation method. Will your visitors get from the home page to the other pages just by clicking on text links, or will you use images? Figure out the two basic states for these images: what they look like when they're just sitting there (the off state) and what they look like when someone puts their mouse cursor over them (the over state). Does it change?
Draw out on pen and paper how each page will look. What text do you plan to have on each page, and where will it be? Left aligned? Centered? Will you use headers and images? What about the background?

How to Write a Party Host a Thank You Letter
Send a handwritten thank you letter instead of calling on the phone or sending an email. Not only does a formal letter help you follow proper etiquette and express everything you want to say, but it can also become a keepsake for the person who threw you the party.
Thank the person for all of her hard work and for opening her home to guests if she hosted the party in her home. Acknowledge how much time it must have taken to prepare the elements for the party, such as the invitations, food, games and entertainment.

How to Host a Successful Party (8 Steps)
Pick a theme for your party. It doesn't have to be anything elaborate but it should be the reason friends are gathering to celebrate. A loved one's homecoming, an engagement announcement, or a block party to meet the neighbors are only a few examples of party themes; decide upon yours and plan the rest of the party around the theme.
Send out the invitations. Optimally, guests should receive their invitations 2 weeks before the party. This gives them time to schedule the event into their time frame, arrange for babysitters or make travel arrangements. If a guest will be traveling a long ways, the earlier they get the invitation, the better.
Create the proper atmosphere. Parties should be fun. If you're hosting the party at home, look at your surroundings with a critical eye. Put knickknacks away for a clean look and add a banner or decorations to make the room more festive. Provide adequate seating for your guests.
Schedule the party events. Allow enough time for guest arrival before serving a meal or showing a film. If your party centers around a televised sports event, plan for guests to arrive at least 30 minutes before the event starts. Allow time for latecomers if you're planning a sit-down meal.
Plan your food list and shop a few days ahead of time. Dishes that can be prepared in advance and frozen will save you much-needed time on the day of the party. If you're hiring a caterer, she will need lots of advance notice of your menu and the number of guests you are expecting. Popular caterers are often booked months in advance.
Double-check the details the night before the party by doing a quick walkthrough, starting at your front door, as if you were a guest, and proceeding through your home. Make sure there is an area for guest's coats, extra soap and clean hand towels in the bathroom. Count your serving plates and glasses to make sure there are enough.
Dress early for the party to prevent last minute dashing. Some guests may arrive early and you'll need to be ready. Preparation is the key to a successful party.
Greet all your guests in person, if possible, and welcome them to your home. Follow your schedule, excusing yourself to tend to party needs and relax. Even in the best-planned events, something inevitably goes awry. Smile and focus on having fun.

How to Disable Sites in Apache 2
Verify that the site is still enabled. From the Ubuntu Linux command line, issue the following commands:cd \etc\apache2\sites-enabledlsThe first command switches the working directory to the 'sites-enabled' sub-directory. The second command lists the files in the directory. If there is a file for the site you want to disable, continue with Step 2. If not, the site already is disabled.
Issue the following commands at the Ubuntu command prompt:cd (changes to your home directory)sudo a2dissite sitename (where 'sitename' is the name of the site you want to disable) This command removes 'sitename' from the /etc/apache2/sites-available sub-directory.
Verify that the site has been removed from the list of enabled sites with the following command:ls /etc/apache2/sites-enabledYour site should not appear in the sub-directory listing.
Restart the Apache 2 Web server with the following command:sudo /etc/init.d/apache2 restartThis causes Apache 2 to stop listening for requests for the disabled site.
Start a browser session and attempt to navigate to the site. If your site is disabled, you should get a 'Not Found' message on a default error page.

How to Transfer Your Domain Name to WiX (12 Steps)
Contact the company/website that you purchased the domain from and ask them to point the domain name to '216.139.213.144' for you.
Click on 'My Account' on the WiX home page and log in.
Select 'Manage Premium' and click the 'Domains' tab.
Select 'Already have a domain?' under Add & Connect Domains.
Select 'Go' under Update the registrar, and click 'Next' under Pointing.
Enter the domain name, without the 'www' prefix, in the corresponding 'Domain Name' field and select 'Continue.'
Choose the WiX document, or website, in your account to connect the domain name to. Click 'Save' and 'Done.'
