How to Set Up a Pay Per View Website
Use a content management system if you are new to web development. Install a content management system on your web server. Web hosting services often have automatic install options for popular content management systems such as WordPress and Joomla.
Install pay per view controls. You'll need to install software on your web hosting service to provide pay per view access controls. For example, if you are using WordPress, you can install a membership plug-in (or add-on module), such as WishList Member, that allows you to charge visitors (or members) for viewing content.
Generate your pay per view content. Create compelling text, video, audio or multimedia content that will motivate your site visitors to pay for viewing it. Reduce user frustration by providing your content in standard formats viewable by a majority of Internet users.
Build pages to hold your content. Your content is placed within a page of your website. If you're building your site by hand, then code pages in HTML or another mark-up language. Or, simply add pages if you're using a content management system. Content management systems make adding new pages easy and fast, especially for novice web developers.
Place your content pages under pay per view control. Control access to your pages with pay per view content by placing code on them to indicate to your pay per view system that the pages can only be accessed by paying visitors.
Transfer your content pages to your web hosting service. Upload your pages and content via FTP if you're building the site by hand. If you're using a content management system, simply publish your content pages using your system's publishing method.
Test your pay per view system. You'll need to make sure that your pay per view pages are secure from non-paying visitors and that you can actually take a payment and make the content viewable to a paying visitor. Approach your site as a new visitor would and test the pay per view features thoroughly.

How to Use Bluehost (6 Steps)
Visit Bluehost's website. (There's a direct link in the Resources section.) Click the 'Sign up now' button to start the registration process.
Enter all of your information, including your credit card number. The first month's fee will be charged immediately, and each month thereafter, a charge in the same amount will be billed to your credit card.
Go to the cPanel (control panel) to familiarize yourself with the Bluehost back office. Here, you'll find links that will help you control your site, such as click-to-add Wordpress and Joomla. You'll also find links to help you create your email accounts and change passwords for your cPanel login as well as all of your email passwords.
On the left-hand margin of the cPanel, you will find the current amount of storage you are using. Because Bluehost is an unlimited hosting plan, this is basically just a 'for your information' section, and you don't need to concern yourself with how much storage you are using.
Go to the site for which you purchased your domain name(s). Change your name servers for all of your domain names. The name servers you'll use are NS1.BLUEHOST.COM - 74.220.195.31 and NS2.BLUEHOST.COM - 69.89.16.4.
Go back the Bluehost cPanel to add all of your existing domains to the Bluehost hosting plan. To do this, scroll down to the 'Add on' icon and click on it. Add the name of your domains, one at a time.
Use the FTP application of your choice (popular ones are Filezilla and Cute FTP) to upload your website files to your Bluehost hosting.

How to Set Up a BBS Internet Server (5 Steps)
Determine what software you will use to manage your BBS. Bulletin boards use special software that manages user accounts and provides the system operator with a wide range of administrative controls. There are many BBS software programs to choose from. Synchronet (see Resources) is a popular open source software that can be used free of charge. Impulse BBS and Ezycom are other options that will allow you to administer your own BBS server. Review the available options to determine which contain the features you require, and which are priced within your budget.
Acquire a server that can be used to host your BBS software. Refer to the minimum system requirements for the software you are using and make sure the server you select will meet or exceed those requirements. You will typically need to have either a Win 32 or Unix-based system to use as a server. This can be either a computer in your home or office, or a dedicated server at a hosting company. A standard web hosting account will not work for most BBS software programs, but you can select a hosting package for a dedicated Unix server and use that to host your BBS software. The dedicated server is necessary because this is the only way most hosts will allow you to install your own software on the server side.
Install the control panel software on your server. WHM and Virtuozzo are the most common control panel programs to use on a server. These will typically already be installed if you have a dedicated hosting package. Having a control panel installed is important, because it will allow you to have remote access to the server.
Install the BBS server. Use the control panel software to access the server. Go to the installation section of the control panel and follow the onscreen prompts to install your BBS software. The software will also be configured during the installation process, allowing you to set the basic features, such as the maximum number of concurrent users and how long a user can remain inactive before being automatically logged out.
Restart the server to complete the installation process.

How to Build Your Own Online Lingerie Site (6 Steps)
Purchase a domain name and web-hosting services for your lingerie Web site. The domain name should include keywords that are relevant to the lingerie you are selling, such as pinkcamisoles.com, sheerbras.com. or sexylingerie.com. By incorporating keywords, you have a greater chance of being found by search engines.
Obtain a payment gateway, by using sites such as Paypalcom, Charge.Com, or PaySimple.Com (no endorsements). The payment gateway will allow you to receive and process credit card payments from your Web site customers.
Log into your Web-hosting account. Go to the file directory to create a frontpage/homepage for your lingerie Web site. To make shopping easier for your customers, consider creating Web site links to the different lingerie categories on the front page, by using terms such as bras, panties, teddies, gowns, chemises, and camisoles. Save the front page after you have finished designing it.
Create other pages for the different categories that were created in Step 3. For example, on the 'bras.html' page, you should upload pictures for all of your bras. The gowns page will contain pictures of all of your gowns. Along with the lingerie pictures, you should also include a short product description and pricing information. Save all of your pages as you complete them.
Place payment buttons on your Web site so that your customers can click on the buttons to purchase your lingerie. You will need to setup pricing for your items inside of the payment gateway tool that you chose in Step 2. After setting up pricing, you will receive the HTML code to go along with the button. Note that this method will require a little knowledge of HTML coding.
Promote your lingerie Web site by submitting the address for your site to all of the major search engines.

How to Make Money Hosting PC Game Servers
Decide on the type of server you want to use. You can use your computer as a server, but once you shut down the computer, no one can use it. A dedicated server is in use 24-7 and will be unavailable for your own personal use.
Find a game to host by contacting developers or programmers working on games. If you want to court a large company like Blizzard, then you need to have large servers that can host a large-scale game. If you plan on courting a small company, then you don't need such a large system.
Figure out how you plan to charge. If you are working with a large company, they will likely lease your servers for their game; that will be the primary source of revenue. If you host a small scale or even local game, then you can charge people a monthly fee to play.
Create your pay-for-access system by working with your Internet service provider or hosting company. They both have the ability to set up a username and password system for either a membership section of your website, which you can provide access to your server, or directly with the server itself for a limited time. This will give only paying customers access to the server and the game.
Publicize your gaming space. If you are hosting a local game, then you will need to publicize your business in order to get people to come and play the game. The most common ways of publicizing products are advertising, social media and news coverage.
Upgrade the servers when needed. If you want to continue making money, then you will need to upgrade your servers when the number of people gets too large or the games take up too much memory on the server.

How to Start Your Own Manga Store Online (10 Steps)
Get your manga comics. If you already own a manga book store, you won't need any additional inventory. If you need to choose between distributors, search around your locality or online, make a list of all wholesale distributors and evaluate them based on factors such as delivery, quality, deadlines and reputation. You may be able to ship the books without re-packaging them, since the original packaging may be professional and suitable for distribution. If you choose to make your own comics, make a list of how much time, effort and money you spend on each book. Evaluate the three options and choose a suitable one for you.
Get a computer and a reliable Internet connection. Sign up for an email account. You will need several email accounts to establish an Internet business, sell products and earn money.
Get a credit card or debit card from your local bank. This is necessary to buy products and services for your online business.
Do a study to determine a reasonable price for your products. Base the price on quality, number of pages or author. If you charge more than your competitors, your sales will be affected. In your price study, include a price comparison of other distributors selling similar manga comics with the same amount of pages. Also include manga prices from top-selling authors or popular comics. You may also conduct an informal survey with manga fans by asking them how much they would pay for your type of comic. Try to ask as many people as possible to get a sense of the best possible price.
Register your own domain name through sites such as godaddy.com or namecheap.com.
Register your web hosting package to ensure that it runs 24 hours a day and 7 days a week. The web hosting package provides website bandwidth so people can see it online. Base the size of the hosting package on the number of views you expect. The more views you expect, the larger the hosting package you will need to purchase. You will need to pay a monthly or yearly fee. You can compare the prices of various providers and choose based on your budget. Prices usually run between $40 to $300 a month depending on your bandwidth need (as of September 2010).
Create a website. Make sure the design and layout are appealing and pleasing. Hire a designer if necessary. Use free services such as weebly.com or wix.com to create preliminary website ideas. Create your own sales and thank you pages.
Get a merchant account and register with a credit card processor. A merchant account is a business bank account linked to your website. It allows you to accept payments on the Internet. Credit card processors are free, but merchant accounts charge a fee. PayPal and Google Checkout both act as a combination of merchant accounts and credit card processors.
Secure your website. Take measures to ensure that your payment gateway is secure so that your clients can rely on it. Hire a webmaster to test your site.
Promote your website through submission in search engines, directories, blogs, newsletters, forums and discussion groups. Listing your site in popular directories such as dmegs.com and other blogs that cover the manga industry can increase traffic to your site.
