How to Enable IonCube on a HostGator Account
Log into the HostGator cPanel with your username and password. Go to the following address 'www.yourdomainname.extension/cpanel.' Note that 'yourdomainname.extension' is the domain name that you purchased for your website and the extension is the domain extension like '.com' for example. If your domain name is 'www.example.com,' the control panel address would be 'www.example.com/cpanel.'
Go to the 'Software / Services' option in cPanel and click the 'PHP Config' option.
Select the 'PHP5 (Single php.ini)' and click 'Save Changes.' This directs you to a page titled 'Install Default php.ini' where there is an option to install IonCube.
Tick the 'IonCube' option and click the 'Install' button.
Click the 'Go Back' option. This is located at the bottom of the page.
Click 'File Manager' in the 'Files' section within cPanel. You are directed to a section titled 'File Manager Directory Selection.'
Select the 'Web Root (public_html/www)' option.
Select the 'php.ini.default' option. Click the 'Rename' button and rename the file to 'php.ini' and then click on the 'Rename File' option. IonCube is now enabled.

There are three basic types of email accounts you can use: free, Internet-based email accounts, accounts provided by Internet service providers, and email accounts purchased through a domain name and hosting company. Consider the image that you want to project. While Internet based email addresses are free and ISP email addresses are provided at no additional charge, you cannot personalize the account as much as you can with an account that you purchase from a hosting company. The domain name for Internet based companies and ISP addresses will remain fixed, such as 'hotmail.com,' 'gmail.com' or 'comcast.net,' while if you purchase the account from a hosting company, you can create your own domain name, such as using the name of your business. Purchasing the domain name will project a more professional image of your business because it is customized and does not seem temporary or less than professional, as Internet-based accounts and ISP domains may. Further, some free Internet-based email accounts automatically include advertisements for their products in the body of your email that you cannot delete prior to sending the email, which may reflect negatively on you in the eyes of your customers.
Consider your ability to access the account. All three types can usually be accessed relatively easily, and remotely. The easiest to access are generally the Internet-based email accounts because the only purpose for the site is to provide access to your email. Those purchased from a domain name and hosting site and those provided by your ISP can be accessed by logging into your Internet service account or your domain name or hosting account.
Consider your ability to keep your email account into the future. A free account and an account purchased through a domain name and hosting company can stay with you through the life of a business. If you decide to change your domain name and hosting company, you can still keep the old domain name and email address. If, however, you choose the ISP email account, then you can only keep it as long as you purchase your Internet services though that ISP. This can be problematic if you are no longer satisfied with your Internet services or if you are offered a better deal on the services.

How to Turn Your PC Into a Web Server (7 Steps)
Click the 'Start' button, and then click 'Settings', then click 'Control Panel'. Note: Some versions of XP don't have a 'Settings' selection on the Start menu; they just skip straight to 'Control Panel'. The main point is that you want to get to the Control Panel.
Double-click the 'Add or Remove Programs' icon.
Double-click the 'Add/Remove Windows Components' icon.
Click the Internet Information Services (IIS) check box. Please note: Some versions of XP do not have IIS available. If you don't see the IIS check box in the 'Windows Components' dialog box, your computer simply does not have that capability.
Select 'Details', and then click the check box entitled 'World Wide Web Service'. Then click 'OK'.
You will come back to the Windows Component dialog box. Simply click 'Next' to begin the installation process for IIS.
There you go! You have officially set up your PC as a web server! Make sure to test it with a basic ASP test page to ensure that it's serving the page properly.

Find a hosting service. Once you have a domain, you will also need a hosting service. Hosting services keep all the information for your website on a server so that it can be accessed by people on the Web. Some domain registration services also host but may not have prices and services that meet your needs. Do a little research, and find out what hosting service is right for you.
Download website creation software. A number of free programs exist for creating content for your official website, such as Joomla! and NVU. Download one of them to avoid tedious hours spent coding by hand.
Create content. The fun part of creating an official website is making the content. At the very least, you will need a banner and a landing page. The banner should be something visually interesting, the logo of the product or band, or a logo that you design yourself if one does not already exist. Every domain name registrar has access to the same information. No domain name registrar is better than any other when it comes to finding out if a domain name is available for a custom email. The difference lies in the fees each registrar charges for registering a domain name through their services, as well as any additional services offered by the company (such as web or email hosting services). Selecting a domain name registrar that also offers email hosting services will make setting up a custom email address easier.
Type the domain you would like to use for your custom email address in the field box designated for domain name lookup on the registrar's website. Remember that the format of a domain name is as follows: a name, followed by a dot (or period), followed by the server type (such as 'com,' 'net,' or 'org'), such as 'example.com' or 'example.net'.

If you selected a domain name registrar that does not offer email hosting services, you will have to shop around for an email host.
