How to Host Your Own Domain (5 Steps)
Download a Web server. This is usually necessary since Windows doesn't come with a default Web server. Apache is a good program, but you can also download ABYSS, which is a free program that you can download (see Resources).
Read the documentation that is included with ABYSS to familiarize yourself with the program. This is only necessary if you've never used ABYSS, or if you do not have Apache on your system.
Visit the No-IP website (see Resources). Set up an account while you are on this page. Choose the domain name you want to use.
Download the No-IP client. Click on the Windows operating system download. Download the program and then install it.
Fill in the information the program asks for. Make sure the program runs after installing it. Once all of your information is entered, your IP address will resolve to the domain you chose, which should be something like xxxxxx.hostnameofserver.com (where xxxxxx is the name you chose).

How to Choose an Email Account for a Business
Determine the amount of money that you are willing to spend. There are three basic types of email accounts you can use: free, Internet-based email accounts, accounts provided by Internet service providers, and email accounts purchased through a domain name and hosting company. Internet based accounts, such as Hotmail and Gmail are free and include ample storage space. Email addresses provided by an ISP do not usually cost any additional money because they are included in the cost of your Internet services. You are, however, limited in the number of ISP email accounts you can set up. While the email accounts that you purchase through a domain name and hosting company are not free, you are not limited in the number that you can purchase.
Consider the image that you want to project. While Internet based email addresses are free and ISP email addresses are provided at no additional charge, you cannot personalize the account as much as you can with an account that you purchase from a hosting company. The domain name for Internet based companies and ISP addresses will remain fixed, such as 'hotmail.com,' 'gmail.com' or 'comcast.net,' while if you purchase the account from a hosting company, you can create your own domain name, such as using the name of your business. Purchasing the domain name will project a more professional image of your business because it is customized and does not seem temporary or less than professional, as Internet-based accounts and ISP domains may. Further, some free Internet-based email accounts automatically include advertisements for their products in the body of your email that you cannot delete prior to sending the email, which may reflect negatively on you in the eyes of your customers.
Consider your ability to access the account. All three types can usually be accessed relatively easily, and remotely. The easiest to access are generally the Internet-based email accounts because the only purpose for the site is to provide access to your email. Those purchased from a domain name and hosting site and those provided by your ISP can be accessed by logging into your Internet service account or your domain name or hosting account.
Consider your ability to keep your email account into the future. A free account and an account purchased through a domain name and hosting company can stay with you through the life of a business. If you decide to change your domain name and hosting company, you can still keep the old domain name and email address. If, however, you choose the ISP email account, then you can only keep it as long as you purchase your Internet services though that ISP. This can be problematic if you are no longer satisfied with your Internet services or if you are offered a better deal on the services.

This will allow you to piggyback host your friends' websites. For the purpose of this article (and because of its sheer ease of use), Host Gator will be used as an example (see Resources).

How to Write Adults Only on Baby Shower Invitations
Write or print your baby shower invitations with the pertinent information, including the name of the guest of honor, the time, date and place of the party, and host and RSVP information.
Clearly write 'Adults Only' or 'Adults Only Shower'. If the invitations are printed instead of handwritten, this information must also be printed, not handwritten in afterwards. This information can be included before the RSVP information, or under the line stating the reason for the event. For example:'Join us in celebrating the arrival of Baby Mills.Adults Only.'
Provide proper information if you wish to offer a babysitter to guests with children as an option. If so, state this in the invite, asking them to let you know if they'd like to use the provided sitter when they RSVP. For example: 'A babysitter will be available to guests with children. If you plan to use the sitter, please RSVP with the number of children you will be bringing.'
Send out the invitations in advance to give people with children adequate time to make arrangements if they need to find a sitter. A month before the party is enough time for people to plan accordingly.
Keep your invitations short and to the point. Too much information, or lengthy explanations of children are not allowed, are unnecessary and tacky. Wordy invites may also cause guests to miss important information.

How to Organize a Home Business Expo (6 Steps)
Your very first step is to decide on the place you will hold the event in. To do this you'll need to be able to hold about 15 vendors and tables of at least 6 ft long. Consider your other factors- are you offering refreshments? Will you need a rest room? How long is the event?
Start contacting your vendors next. Go directly to a local rep and let them know you are showcasing home businesses that moms can do in the area and want them to be included. Hand out a form with all the information available about the event specifics including the vendors cost and what is being supplied in return.
Begin your advertising. Write your own press release if you can or call the paper and tell them what your doing. Make flyers and pass them around town. Consider giving them out at PTA events and other places that cater to women and mothers. Inform local radio and television stations.
Collect the payments paid by the vendors who sign up and keep a ledger of who has paid. Detail all of your expenses for room rental, advertising, food etc and pay yourself back as your payments come in. Always keep in mind that you may need cash for something unexpected.
Hang out your sign and have your business expo. You can enjoy meeting the women business owners in your own back yard and know that you've opened the door to new home businesses to your communities women.
Follow up your job fair by sending thank you cards and questionnaires. File everything away in a file for next year!
