How to Stream MP3 Music on Your Blog

Add some basic HTML code for a simple, functional way to add a streaming MP3 to your blog. First, upload the MP3 file to your blog website or another hosting service so it is available on the Internet. Then, insert the following into the HTML code of your blog, using the URL of your MP3 file in the first two lines:
Use Martin Laine's Flash-based WordPress Audio Player for a compact player with a clean appearance visible to any user with the Flash plugin. First, download the standalone player (see Resources), then unzip and find the file 'player.swf'. Upload this file and your MP3 file so they are both accessible on the Internet, then use the following HTML code in your blog website, replacing the URL of the player and MP3 file where appropriate in the first three lines:
Note that if you happen to be using the WordPress blog publishing tool, you can integrate this player into your blog as a WordPress plugin. See Martin's website in the Resources section for details.
Try the various forms of the open-source MP3 Player for an alternative Flash-based player that is easy to customize. Follow the link in the Resources section, then choose among the player types in the 'Various types' section of the page. Use either 'MINI', 'NORMAL', or 'MULTI' at first. Click the 'Generator' link to customize the player and generate the HTML code you can add to your blog. The MP3 file should be uploaded to a web host as in the previous examples.
