How to Write Adults Only on Baby Shower Invitations

Write or print your baby shower invitations with the pertinent information, including the name of the guest of honor, the time, date and place of the party, and host and RSVP information.
Clearly write 'Adults Only' or 'Adults Only Shower'. If the invitations are printed instead of handwritten, this information must also be printed, not handwritten in afterwards. This information can be included before the RSVP information, or under the line stating the reason for the event. For example:'Join us in celebrating the arrival of Baby Mills.Adults Only.'
Provide proper information if you wish to offer a babysitter to guests with children as an option. If so, state this in the invite, asking them to let you know if they'd like to use the provided sitter when they RSVP. For example: 'A babysitter will be available to guests with children. If you plan to use the sitter, please RSVP with the number of children you will be bringing.'
Send out the invitations in advance to give people with children adequate time to make arrangements if they need to find a sitter. A month before the party is enough time for people to plan accordingly.
Keep your invitations short and to the point. Too much information, or lengthy explanations of children are not allowed, are unnecessary and tacky. Wordy invites may also cause guests to miss important information.
