How to Set up a Business Server (5 Steps)

Install a Network Operating System (NOS). This can be Linux, MS 2000/2003 Server, etc. Approaching your business server hosting this way allows you to tailor settings to your business needs. You'll pay less and have more control over downtime and bandwidth usage. Bandwidth stays uninterrupted because it's a dedicated line and there's no question of your website being slowed down due to other websites receiving more traffic.
Install any necessary servers on the NOS, like email servers, domain servers, web server, database servers, etc. Recently, Microsoft developed two server solutions, Small Business Server 2008 and Windows Essential Business Server 2008. These are bundles and may be more efficient for your business server set up.
Install any web-based applications needed to run your website. Set up any other services you wish to run on your business server.
Create any network drives for your employees to be able to share files and keep files on the server. For an intranet, passwords and other security policies need to be applied.
Specifications for servers are equally important. To have a stable and reliable business server, it is always recommended to schedule regular backups of what is on your business server.

How to Write Adults Only on Baby Shower Invitations

Write or print your baby shower invitations with the pertinent information, including the name of the guest of honor, the time, date and place of the party, and host and RSVP information.
Clearly write 'Adults Only' or 'Adults Only Shower'. If the invitations are printed instead of handwritten, this information must also be printed, not handwritten in afterwards. This information can be included before the RSVP information, or under the line stating the reason for the event. For example:'Join us in celebrating the arrival of Baby Mills.Adults Only.'
Provide proper information if you wish to offer a babysitter to guests with children as an option. If so, state this in the invite, asking them to let you know if they'd like to use the provided sitter when they RSVP. For example: 'A babysitter will be available to guests with children. If you plan to use the sitter, please RSVP with the number of children you will be bringing.'
Send out the invitations in advance to give people with children adequate time to make arrangements if they need to find a sitter. A month before the party is enough time for people to plan accordingly.
Keep your invitations short and to the point. Too much information, or lengthy explanations of children are not allowed, are unnecessary and tacky. Wordy invites may also cause guests to miss important information.

How to Write a Thank You Note to a Host or Hostess

Hand write the note on nice stationery or a blank card. This makes the note more personal and meaningful.
Write the note within a week or two of attending the dinner. This time line will help you remember details to write about and shows that you enjoyed the event so much that you had to say thank you right away.
Start with a sentence saying what a great time you had. For example, you can say 'I had such a great time at dinner last Saturday that I wanted to thank you.'
Write at least two sentences about the event that made it special. Say how you still laugh about something that happened, or mention the amazing decorating that gave the event such a special touch.
End the note by reiterating how much you appreciate being included. If you want, mention that you will be reciprocating soon and are looking forward to another dinner or event with the host.
