How to Host a Wet T
Find the appropriate venue to host a wet T-shirt contest. If you are a bar or club owner, pick a night of the week that is normally slow, since a wet T-shirt contest is likely to bring in more business. If you don't own a place to host the contest, contact local bars and clubs that normally attract college students and ask if they would be interested in allowing you to run wet T-shirt contests in their establishments as a way to bring in more business.
Choose a date to hold the wet T-shirt contest. Assuming the contest is a success, it would be a good idea to have the contest on the same date each month or same night each week, depending on how often you'd like to have it. Holding the contest on a consistent basis and advertising it with posters and flyers will help create a crowd of regular attendees, ensuring a decent-sized audience each time you hold it.
Determine the best time for the contest to begin. It's a good idea to hold the wet T-shirt contest later in the evening, preferably around midnight, so that bar patrons have enough time to down a few drinks before it starts. The wet T-shirt contest should be only about one hour or less in length, so it shouldn't be a problem to schedule it around other events or entertainment being held the same night.
Establish the process for entering the contest. You should have a sign-up sheet prepared in advance and bring a clipboard and pens with you to the bar or club. Some wet T-shirt contests also require that contestants pay a small fee to compete, which usually includes the price of a T-shirt to be provided for each contestant.
Bring a CD of upbeat music to play during the wet T-shirt contest. Many clubs and bars will have DJs, so you may not need to provide music. Still, it's best to be prepared with your own soundtrack, just in case.
Decide how the winner will be chosen. Most of the time, the winner is considered to be the contestant who receives the most applause from the crowd, but you will need to have someone be the judge of who receives the most support based on audience response.
