How to Remove a Sponsored Link From a Home Page
Pay for a better site. The first thing you have to consider is paying or paying more for your site. Most hosts that offer free or low-cost website hosting offer an upgrade for a very small amount. The upgrade will remove the sponsors from your own page. You may still be using a sub-domain or you may have your own--it depends on the host. with a little more money you can upgrade to a site with no sponsored links. Hosting can be as cheap as $3 a month. If you want to make up that cost you can use Google AdWords to help pay for the costs. This is basically another form of sponsored link, but you're more in control.
Sign up for free hosting with no advertisements. There are companies that offer free hosting with no advertisements or sponsored links, such as the site X10hosting. The host will require something from you, such as participating in forums, to help make up the cost. There will also likely be limits on your website that offer less flexibility than you would get with paid hosting.
Use Blogger. Blogger.com is a free service that lets anyone write a blog for free with no advertisements. There are other websites that allow free blogs, but Blogger is the most well known and will give you a URL that looks like this: (yourname).blogspot.com. Different sites have different formats and options. This can be the best way to establish an Internet presence with no sponsored ads or links.
Call customer support. If you really want to keep the website you have on your current host, try calling or emailing customer support and asking them what you can do to remove sponsored links or ads.

How to Teach an Online Course using WordPress
Develop your content for the course. You can follow the instructions in my related article, How to Develop a Training Course (link in Resources below) or follow your own template for curriculum design. It is important to create the entire course in a word processing program first. The entire course will consist of reading assignments, links to Websites, discussion questions, detailed instructions for assignments and instructions for the instructor on how and when to post various components of the course.
Open a new blog on WordPress.com (link in resources below) or other free blog hosting site. Create the first page of the blog. This will be the landing page for your students so include the course description here as well as instructions about how to access the remainder of the course. The content on this page is considered to be static, it should not change after the course starts.
When you are on the editing site for this first page there are some things to remember to do:
Password protect the page. This is to make sure that no-one can access the site without your permission (and without paying tuition).
Turn off the comments part of the page. You do not want students to comment here. You want to contain the comments in specific pages set up for discussion.
Post your photo and contact information on this first page, which is usually called the Home page of the blog.

How to Open an Online Store With Free Hosting
Sign up for a free website host and sub-domain with a website that allows you to enter your own codes for your site. The host must accept HTML and JavaScript. Examples of sites that allow these codes and provide free hosting and sub-domains are Bravenet and Webs.
Set up your website with a template, the title of your store, a description, and any other relevant information. Save your website.
Visit the PayPal website. Click 'Sign Up' below the login form. Select a Premier or Business account. Choose the business account only if you are operating under a group name (organization) or business. If you already have a PayPal account, move to step four.
Enter in all of the required information including your email, password, first and last name, birth date, address and phone number. The phone number must be valid. Read the User Agreement and Privacy Policy by clicking on the two links at the bottom of the form. Click 'Agree and Create Account.'
Confirm your email address. Check your email and click on the confirmation link sent by PayPal. If the link is not click-able, copy and paste it into your address bar.
Sign into your PayPal account. Click on the 'Merchant Services' tab and click the 'Add to Cart Button.'
Edit the information required. Under the 'Accept payments for' area, click the drop-down menu and select what you'll be selling. This could include products, services, subscriptions or gift certificates. Decide whether or not your customers will be able to purchase more than one item. If you're only selling a single item, you will only need a 'Buy Now' button. If you're selling multiple items, you will need an 'Add to Cart' button. Select the option that best fits your store.
Enter the name of the item you are selling and enter an item ID if there is one available. Otherwise, leave the ID area blank. Enter the price of the item and select the currency. If the item you're selling may come in different styles, sizes, or colors and there is a separate price for different designs, leave the price area blank and in the Customize Button box, click 'Add drop-down menu with price/option.' Enter the details of each different design or style and enter the prices.
Type in the amount the customer will be required to pay for shipping and select the currency. Enter the tax rate in the next box. Click on 'Secure Merchant Account ID' to keep your email address secure from your customers.
Click the 'Step 2' area under the form. Check the box that asks if you'd like to have a 'Save Button.' This will protect your buttons from fraudulent changes and allow you to create similar buttons and edit the ones you've made. Select the 'Track Inventory' box to get alerts when your inventory is low. Fill out the item ID, the number of items in stock, and the number of items you should have in the inventory before you're alerted.
Select the 'Track Profit and Loss' box if you'd like to see your profit or losses from your customers' transactions. Enter the cost of the item to keep track of the losses or gains. Choose whether you'd like to allow customers to buy an item even if it's sold out. Enter the URL of the page where you'd like your customer to land after they've clicked 'Continue Shopping.'
Click 'Step 3' under the second form. Customize your check-out page. Choose whether your customer can provide you with special instructions about the item they are purchasing. Choose whether you'd like to see your customers' shipping address and enter a URL where customers will land if they cancel their order, and the URL of a page they should see after a successful checkout. Add advanced variables if you are an advanced user.
Click 'Create Button.' Copy and paste the code onto your website. The button should show up on your page. Add images to these buttons in your website code.
Repeat steps 6 through 13 for every item that you would like to add to your store.
Save your website and preview it. Customers should now be able to purchase items from your PayPal store through your website.

How to Start Your Own Fantasy Website
Build your website using pen and paper. Think about what pages you will want your fantasy website to have, including a message board, if you like. Draw a rectangle for the home page (where visitors first arrive) and draw subsequent rectangles to represent the other pages, such as 'about us' or 'contact us' or 'links.'
Design your primary navigation method. Will your visitors get from the home page to the other pages just by clicking on text links, or will you use images? Figure out the two basic states for these images: what they look like when they're just sitting there (the off state) and what they look like when someone puts their mouse cursor over them (the over state). Does it change?
Draw out on pen and paper how each page will look. What text do you plan to have on each page, and where will it be? Left aligned? Centered? Will you use headers and images? What about the background?

How to Design An Affiliate Marketing Website To Make Money Online
To get started, you will need to determine what types of affilate programs and products you will be promoting. This is very important as your domain name should relate to your affiliate programs. It's best to start with affiliate programs that relate to a subject you are interested in, and have knowledge about. Sign up for 6 related programs/products, read all of the information provide on the affiliate site to become familiar with the package/product, then copy and paste your affiliate links to your notepad and save to your desktop.
The next step will be to register a domain name (a link to low-cost domains has been provided below, under the Resources heading). Choosing a domain name that reflects the products and services offered is very important. For instance, if you are promoting pet products, a good example of a domain name would be 'TheBestPetProducts.com'.
You will then need to set-up hosting for your website. This is usually available from the site in which you purchased your domain name, such as godaddy, etc. Sign-up for a minimum of 1 year to get the best priced packages.
From here, you will need to create a website that features the 6 affiliate products. This is easily done by doing short reviews on each product. Use a photo and a short paragraph with a link to the affiliate site.
Begin marketing your new website. This can be done in a number of ways, from free classifieds to paid banners and PPC promotions. Once you have got the system down, you can begin to add additional products to your website or start new ones.
For information on finding the cheapest domain names, low-cost hosting and easy-to-use website builders, visit the link below, under the Resources heading, titled 'Creating A Website'.
