How to Make a Proxy Website (6 Steps)

Open an account at a web host that allows proxy websites. Many hosting companies do not allow proxies because they can generate a large amount of traffic that overloads the servers. Those that do allow proxy websites will typically prefer that you have a Virtual Private Server (VPS) or a dedicated server. Most hosts do not allow web proxies on a shared server.
Obtain a copy of PHProxy. This script acts as the software to power your proxy site. PHProxy is available free of charge, so anyone can make a proxy website without spending a lot of money.
Log into the control panel for your web hosting account. Create a MySQL database that will be used by the PHProxy script. Make note of the database name, user name and password that is associated with the database. This information is needed to configure the script to communicate with the database.
Edit the config.php file that is included with the script. Open the file with a HTML editor so that you can edit the contents of the file and save the new copy. Use Windows Notepad if you do not have a HTML editor. Simply open the file, edit the website name, website address, database name, database user name and database password. Save the file after the information has been edited.
Use an FTP program to upload all of the files to your hosting account. You can download a free copy of Filezilla FTP if you do not already have a program. Simply upload all of the files and folders included with PHProxy to your web hosting account. Your proxy website should now be operational.
Read the documentation that is included with PHProxy. Follow the instructions in the documentation to customize your script, such as changing colors, page layout or other visual elements. This will help you make a FTP website that stands out.

How to Embed Audio in HTML

Choose an audio file. You can use an mp3 or .wav file. If you do not have an audio file, make one using any one of the freeware or shareware programs available on the Web.
Upload the audio file to your webserver. Select the file to play on your website and make sure it is in the same directory as your website. To play an audio file on a blog that is hosted on a different server, upload the audio file to a free Web hosting company.
Embed the audio file. Copy and paste the following code onto your website:
Replace the 'myaudio.mp3' with the name of your audio file. Keep the quotation marks. This not only embeds the audio, but also creates a player that allows you to turn the audio on and off.
Embed the audio file onto your blog. Change the file name in the code to the complete URL where the audio file is located. For example, using the following:
Change the name of 'myaudio.mp3' to the full URL address where your mp3 is located. The embed code will create a music player.
Adjust volume, height and width settings to match your blog or website. A width setting of '144' is recommended.

How to Make a Background on an IMVU Homepage

Locate the URL of the remotely hosted image. This URL may vary depending on whether you have your own website host or you are using a free image hosting service.
Copy the image’s URL.
Log into your IMVU account and navigate to your homepage. While logged into your account, you will have access to the “Edit” mode of your homepage.
Click on the “Background” widget.
Paste the image’s URL into the text box under “Background Image URL.”
Choose if you want the image to be a “Tiled image” or a “Non-scrolling image.” A tiled image will recreate multiple copes of the same picture to fill up the background. A non-scrolling image will place one fixed copy of the image in the center of your homepage.
Click the “Save” button and allow the changes to take effect. You should now see your remotely hosted image used as the background on your IMVU homepage.

How to Start a Playreading Group (5 Steps)

Find a group of friends, co-workers or classmates who want to participate and find a time and place that is convenient for everyone. The group can be as big or small as you want it, but a group of 5 to 8 people usually works out the best. If you are doing the reading on a weeknight, a 6:30-7:00 start time is usually best.
Choose a play. You can pick any play you want, but play-reading groups are especially popular for Shakespeare. Whatever play you choose, just make sure that are a sufficient number of parts for the participants and that everyone has access to a copy of the play. If it is one that would be hard to find at the bookstore or library, try to find a free copy online (see Resources) and send it to everyone. Also make sure that it is a play that can be performed in 2 to 3 hours.
Assign parts so that everyone will be performing for approximately the same amount of time. A good idea is to try to give everyone a major character role and then one or more smaller parts. Try to avoid assigning two characters who talk to each other to the same person. Also, don't be afraid to cast cross-gender, meaning assigning male parts to women and vice versa.
Send out an email with everyone's parts (and copies of the play if necessary) a few days before the reading. Encourage everyone to look over their assigned parts, but don't read the entire play, as a 'cold read' usually makes the performance more fun.
On the night of the reading, have everyone get in a circle, introduce themselves and who they are playing, and begin reading. There is no movement or props, the performers just read their parts while sitting. Plan an intermission somewhere halfway through the play (if you are doing Shakespeare, the end of Act 3 is usually a good stopping point).

How to Add Images to ProBoards Signatures

Upload the image to be placed in your ProBoards signature to an image hosting site such as Photobucket, or your own website if you have the space available. Once you have the image uploaded, make a note of the address that links directly to the image by right-clicking on the image and selecting “Copy Image Address.” This saves a copy of the image location, known as a URL, to the clipboard.
Browse to the ProBoards account where you want to put the image into your signature. Log in to your account if you are not already logged in, and select the 'Profile' link to access your profile for this account. Click “Add Signature” and select the “Add Signature to All Posts” option. This will ensure the image you add to your signature is automatically added to the end of all your posts.
Click on the text box for your signature. Enter the opening tag for the image code, '[img]' (without quotes), which tells the software that you want it to load an image. Right-click after the closing square bracket and select “Paste,” or press 'Ctrl+V' to paste the URL of your image. Enter the tag '[/img' (without quotes) to close the image command and click “Save Changes.”

How to Download Video Links (10 Steps)

Locate the video that you want to download. If the video is hosted from YouTube on another website, go directly to the YouTube website link by clicking the YouTube icon in the bottom right-hand corner of the screen. If you try to get the video from a website hosting the video, it will not work properly.
Copy the video link from Youtube or other video hosting website. If the video is part of a multi-part series, copy and paste each link into a word processing document to keep track of them.
Go to Clipnabber.com. On the main main look for the pasting box at the top of the screen. Paste the Youtube link into the box and click 'Nab'. Wait a few seconds for the website to analyze the video link and find the file.
Click on the 'Download' link that appears underneath the box. Choose a location to save the file and press 'OK'. If it is a multi-part video, save the video as 'Part_1' or 'Part_2' so that you can keep track of the video a lot easier.
Repeat this process for the remaining videos. The videos are usually downloaded as an FLV file, so they will play in applications like the VLC Media Player, but not much else. How to Design An Affiliate Marketing Website To Make Money Online

To get started, you will need to determine what types of affilate programs and products you will be promoting. This is very important as your domain name should relate to your affiliate programs. It's best to start with affiliate programs that relate to a subject you are interested in, and have knowledge about. Sign up for 6 related programs/products, read all of the information provide on the affiliate site to become familiar with the package/product, then copy and paste your affiliate links to your notepad and save to your desktop.
The next step will be to register a domain name (a link to low-cost domains has been provided below, under the Resources heading). Choosing a domain name that reflects the products and services offered is very important. For instance, if you are promoting pet products, a good example of a domain name would be 'TheBestPetProducts.com'.
You will then need to set-up hosting for your website. This is usually available from the site in which you purchased your domain name, such as godaddy, etc. Sign-up for a minimum of 1 year to get the best priced packages.
From here, you will need to create a website that features the 6 affiliate products. This is easily done by doing short reviews on each product. Use a photo and a short paragraph with a link to the affiliate site.
Begin marketing your new website. This can be done in a number of ways, from free classifieds to paid banners and PPC promotions. Once you have got the system down, you can begin to add additional products to your website or start new ones.
For information on finding the cheapest domain names, low-cost hosting and easy-to-use website builders, visit the link below, under the Resources heading, titled 'Creating A Website'.
