How to Write an Invitation to Dinner

State the request and the purpose of the dinner in your first line. For example, 'James and Natalie invite you to join them for dinner to celebrate their first wedding anniversary.' A more formal invitation might read, 'Mr and Mrs Smith request the pleasure of your company at a dinner to celebrate their first wedding anniversary.'
Write the date and time that the dinner party will be held. For example, 'Tuesday, 5th July 2011, 7:30 p.m.'
Inform your guests where the dinner is taking place. For example, 'At Home,' or 'At Two Chefs Restaurant.' Be sure to include the address of the venue.
Provide details concerning the dress code. Black tie or smart casual are typical dinner party choices.
Place an RSVP at the base of the invitation with contact details such as a phone number or email address. The RSVP requests that recipients inform you whether they will attend or not. With a more formal invitation, you can include a reply card and a self-addressed envelope for responses.

How to Get a Sponsor for Showing Your Horse

Determine what you hope to accomplish and how sponsorships will help you reach your goals. If you want to make it to a specific championship or show, figure out exactly how much support you will need and in what forms. Do you need new show clothing and equipment; or should you ask for money to help you pay the show-related costs?
List potential sponsors. Sponsors can be businesses, groups or individuals. Local businesses, especially horse-related businesses -- such as barns, tack and feed stores -- will be more amiable to sponsoring horse-related activities than those that have nothing to do with horses.
Write a formal letter presenting yourself and your goals to each potential sponsor. Provide them with a list of things they can do to assist you and explain what you will give them in return. Advertising in the form of banners and decals on your vehicle and horse trailer are some of the most common forms of reciprocity sold for sponsorship. You may also offer your personal verbal endorsement, and give the sponsor the right to use your name and image for events or advertising. Sponsorship letters should include your contact information, as well as a list of your accomplishments to date.
Hand deliver your sponsorship letter. This will allow the potential sponsors to put a face with your name and allow them to ask questions. When you deliver the letters, you should have a neat, well-groomed appearance and present yourself as professionally as possible.
Follow through with sponsors. No matter how large or small the sponsorship may be, behave gratefully and follow through on any requests or specific agreements you made with the sponsor, such as displaying their advertising during shows.
Document your actions. If you agree to display the sponsor's sign on your trailer during horse shows, take pictures of the trailer in the parking lot -- or close to a big sign or the entrance. This will prove you held up your end of the agreement and give the sponsor something that shows his involvement in the horse show community.

How to Set Up a LAN Network for 'Diablo II'

Launch 'Diablo II' on the computer that will be hosting the game. One player may also use this computer to play the game as well.
Click on “Other Multiplayer” from the initial selection screen.
Choose the TCP/IP connection option.
Select “Host Game” from the menu.
Write down the IP address which appears on the game startup screen. Other players will need this address in order to connect to your game. After setting the game options that you want to use, start the game.
Start 'Diablo II' on each of the other computers. One copy of the game may be installed on each of the computers using the same disks and CD key or each player may have his own. Multiple CD keys are only necessary if playing on Battle.net instead of through a LAN TCP/IP connection.
Click “Other Multiplayer” and “Join Game” to begin the connection process.
Enter the IP address of the host computer. All players can now join the first player’s multiplayer 'Diablo II' game.

How to Create a Landing Page for ClickBank Promotion

Purchase a domain name that reflects the product you're trying to sell. Instead of paying for expensive web hosting, link that domain to a page on a free site you've already built or forward it to a blog you've created on a platform such as Blogger. Free sites such as blogger.com, weebly.com and webs.com can be used to market an array of products.
Write a compelling heading or a call to action at the top of the page. This call to action must grab your reader's attention but not be too large that it's a distraction. Use a font that's between 16 and 18 points in size. Make it stand out by bolding the font or by making it a different color. A good call to action if you're selling a weight loss product might look something like this: 'Lose 20 Pounds Fast.' Right there, your readers know what this product or ebook can do for them.
Include a photo of the product and the possible results of buying the item. Play around with image placement to see whether placing it on the left or right side looks better.
Write a list of bullet points that outlines the effects or usefulness of the vendor's product. Make your landing page easy to read by using these bullet points, or very short paragraphs under subheadings, instead of using long paragraphs. This allows readers to scan the content of your site to find what they're most interested in.
Include some customer testimonials, if available from the vendor. Never write fake testimonials.
Add the price toward the top of the page, under your bullet points. This allows readers to decide if they want to keep going. Avoid writing a long landing page where individuals need to scroll down two or three times to reach the call to action.
Place a 'Buy Now' button under your price tag and another at the bottom of your landing page. Add a link on your 'Buy Now' button that connects customers directly to the ClickBank vendor's product pitch page.

How to Change Hosting Services Without Losing Email Information

Start a new account with the web hosting service of your choice, but do not close your account with your current host. Otherwise, you risk permanently losing your website and email information.
Make a note of every email account hosted on your website. Write down each email address–and password if you want to keep them the same–or type them in a file and save the file. Keep this information private so that no one can access your email accounts without your permission.
Back up your website. Access the backup tool on your user panel with your current hosting service and select the options necessary to do a complete site backup, rather than any kind of partial backup. Save the resulting file on your computer.
Access the backup tool on your user panel with your new hosting service. Select the option to upload a complete site backup. Find your site backup, upload it and select the option to complete the backup upload process.
Create all the same email accounts you have on your current server on your new server. Use the passwords you saved in step 1 if you wish to keep them the same, or make up new passwords if you prefer. Be sure to use passwords that you will remember but that would be difficult for someone else to guess.
Close your account with your current hosting service.

How to Write a Business Proposal for Entertainment Promoters

Determine the audience. The proposal will likely be to a particular venue, perhaps for a particular event. The promoter must know the venue or event. They must know how many people it holds, what the crowd is like and then determine the feasibility of promoting the event. Some events are too large for one promoter.
Write down a list of reasons why the promoters should promote the event. Highlight past successes, reputation, or any unique marketing strategies that will be used.
Consider what terms of the promotion will be. How will the promoters be paid. Some promoters only receive a percentage of the door, others may also get a cut of the bar. The terms may need to be negotiated in person but the promoters should have an idea of what they want.
Write the proposal. The proposal should be a short (one page) outline of who the promoters are, their background and successes, what they want to do (promote an event,) how they will do it and what they want from the venue. Keep the well written and stylish. Consider having a graphic designer spruce up the proposal.
Approach the venue with the business proposal. Normally, the agreement is in person and the proposal will go out in advance to feel out the interest of the venue's management.
