How to Draft an Invitation Letter for a Promotion Party
Open with a salutation that greets the recipient in the same way you would address him in person, such as 'Dear Mr. Jones' or 'Dear Bill.'
Explain that you would like to invite the recipient to attend a party you are hosting in celebration of a promotion. If you are throwing the party on behalf of the individual who received the promotion, mention his or her name here so the recipient understands who the guest of honor is.
Write the date and time of the promotion party, and explain whether it will be formal or informal. Include any special instructions, such as whether black tie is optional or if the guests may bring anything, such as drinks or desserts.
Thank the recipient for her time and indicate if there is an RSVP card enclosed, or how she may reach you to let you know whether she will be attending. End with a closing, such as 'Best wishes,' then sign your name.

How to Write an Invitation to Dinner
State the request and the purpose of the dinner in your first line. For example, 'James and Natalie invite you to join them for dinner to celebrate their first wedding anniversary.' A more formal invitation might read, 'Mr and Mrs Smith request the pleasure of your company at a dinner to celebrate their first wedding anniversary.'
Write the date and time that the dinner party will be held. For example, 'Tuesday, 5th July 2011, 7:30 p.m.'
Inform your guests where the dinner is taking place. For example, 'At Home,' or 'At Two Chefs Restaurant.' Be sure to include the address of the venue.
Provide details concerning the dress code. Black tie or smart casual are typical dinner party choices.
Place an RSVP at the base of the invitation with contact details such as a phone number or email address. The RSVP requests that recipients inform you whether they will attend or not. With a more formal invitation, you can include a reply card and a self-addressed envelope for responses.

How to Plan a Community Father Daughter Dance Event
Secure a date for the father and daughter dance at a venue with adequate facilities. Choose from common sites such as churches, community centers, school auditoriums and hotel ballrooms. Keep your budget in mind along with the number of people you will invite. Pick a layout that best suits your needs in terms of dance floor space, chairs and buffet tables.
Decide on a guest list for the event. Write down the names of all the families you want to invite that have dads and daughters. You might also want to include daughters of single mothers who have a male relative or friend who can act as 'dad' for the dance party. Make it an inclusive event by inviting all of a particular group. For example, invite all the girls at an elementary school.
Prepare invitations in which you ask for an RSVP by a particular date. Your invitations should include the date of the dance, the location, the time, suggestions for attire and how much you are charging if this is not a free event. Also, put information regarding the food so the guests will know if it is a full dinner or just light appetizers and drinks.
Set up catering for the dance. Hire a company to provide the food and drinks or gather up a committee of volunteers to do the cooking and serve. If you have a themed event, you can provide food that fits with the occasion. For instance, if you are hosting a father and daughter fifties style dance, you might want to serve hamburgers, fries and malts.
Schedule a disc jockey or band for the music. Often you can find a hobbyist who will serve as DJ for the event or you can hire a professional band if your budget allows. Select the music with the ages of the daughters in mind and add some 'older' stuff the fathers will enjoy as well. Also, vary the fast music with some slower tunes. Girls Ministries suggests obtaining a speaker for the dance as well.
Decorate the site of the event. The most common and festive decor includes flowers, balloons, streamers and lights. If your dance has a particular theme, you can decorate with that in mind as well. For example, a western styled event could include cowboy regalia displayed such as hats, boots, horseshoes, spurs and hay bales.
Get volunteers for clean-up. Plan ahead by contacting specific persons to help you take down decorations, pick up trash, take down tables and chairs and restore the venue to the condition you found it.

How to Host a Crazy Cards Party (8 Steps)
Send out invitations at least two weeks in advance. Your Crazy Cards invitation should make it clear that guests need to RSVP by a certain date. You will want to have enough guests to seat four players to a table, although you can play with a 'ghost' or two. Ideally you will have 12 or more players.
Decide on party food and drinks. Consider having a different bowl of sweet or salty snacks at each card table for guests to enjoy as the game advances.
Set up card tables with four chairs each. Depending on the number of guests, you may need to use more than one room, such as the kitchen, dining room, living room and family room--or a large gathering space such as a church hall. Each table should be numbered so guests know where to rotate during the game. Each table should have a pen or pencil so players can keep score.

How to Write a Party Host a Thank You Letter
Send a handwritten thank you letter instead of calling on the phone or sending an email. Not only does a formal letter help you follow proper etiquette and express everything you want to say, but it can also become a keepsake for the person who threw you the party.
Thank the person for all of her hard work and for opening her home to guests if she hosted the party in her home. Acknowledge how much time it must have taken to prepare the elements for the party, such as the invitations, food, games and entertainment.
Discuss the most memorable moment from the party. It can be a conversation that touched you, a mishap that made you laugh or a discussion or tip that taught you something new. If you're having trouble coming up with something, stop and think about the party, then write about the first thing that came to mind.
Suggest getting together so you can take her to lunch as another way of saying, 'thank you' and so you can reminisce about the party in even greater detail. Also mention that you can't wait to throw a party in her honor if you intend to reciprocate the gesture in the future.

How to Make an Online Radio Station for Free (3 Steps)
Use the software ubroadcast to broadcast online. Ubroadcast allows you to set up an online radio station for free and broadcast live. However, other users must download the ubroadcast client before they can listen to your station.
Set up a Shoutcast broadcasting server. Shoucast is a free program that also allows for online radio broadcasting. Shoutcast allows you to either broadcast directly from your own computer, or from a third-party Shoutcast host that hosts your program on its servers. It does not require special software for listeners to use.
Create a podcast using sound software such as Audacity and use a podcast hosting service such as MyPodCast to host the podcast. While not a live Internet broadcast, Podcasts have an advantage in that they can be downloaded to the PC and played back anytime, unlike a radio broadcast, which can only be heard once unless you record it.

How to Plan a Party at a Restaurant (9 Steps)
Choose a few restaurants you really like. Base your choices on personal experience, friends' recommendations and restaurant guidebooks like the Zagat series.
Speak to the managers of these establishments about renting a room - or the whole place, depending on the size of your party.
Have a conversation with the manager regarding the menu, the drinks, the bouncer and who's to pay for the services.
Create and sign a contract for the services, and be prepared to pay a deposit.
Send out invitations - via mail or e-mail - to the elite list of potential attendees.
Arrive early the day of the party and decorate if allowed and/or desired.
Treat the employees of the restaurant with the utmost respect and courtesy.
Mingle with your friends, enjoy good food and beverages and have a terrific time.
Pay the manager the remaining balance, and tip like you just won the lottery.
