How to Create Your Own Domain Email

Find a domain to registrar. There are many domain registrar websites where you can register your own domain. You can visit a site like GoDaddy, DirectNIC or Network Solutions to buy a web domain. Use the website's search function to find a website that hasn't been registered and that is personal to you.
Select the type of domain you want. Domains come in several types. You can buy '.com,' '.net,' '.biz,' '.us,' or even '.tv.' Select the domain name and type, and purchase it from the site. The fee will vary depending on the type of domain you want.
Buy web hosting. Now that you have a domain, you need to find a host. You can normally buy hosting very cheaply from the company that you bought your domain from, or it may be included in the price of the domain. If you decide to use another host, you will need to follow their instructions for changing your nameservers to the ones that they specify.
Get an email program. Many people use Microsoft Outlook for an email client or you can use something else. You can even use some of the online Web-based services such as Gmail, Yahoo or Hotmail that allow you to use the POP3 email protocol and download your email into their program for viewing from any computer.
Configure the email program. You will normally find account options under the 'Tools' or 'Options' menu of your email program. This is where you tell the program where to retrieve your email. Use your username and password, as well as your email server information -- provided by your Web hosting company -- to set up your email accounts.
Test your settings. Send yourself some email from another account and make sure that you can send and receive email properly. If you can, you are ready to start giving out your new email account.

How to Use Bluehost (6 Steps)

Visit Bluehost's website. (There's a direct link in the Resources section.) Click the 'Sign up now' button to start the registration process.
Enter all of your information, including your credit card number. The first month's fee will be charged immediately, and each month thereafter, a charge in the same amount will be billed to your credit card.
Go to the cPanel (control panel) to familiarize yourself with the Bluehost back office. Here, you'll find links that will help you control your site, such as click-to-add Wordpress and Joomla. You'll also find links to help you create your email accounts and change passwords for your cPanel login as well as all of your email passwords.
On the left-hand margin of the cPanel, you will find the current amount of storage you are using. Because Bluehost is an unlimited hosting plan, this is basically just a 'for your information' section, and you don't need to concern yourself with how much storage you are using.
Go to the site for which you purchased your domain name(s). Change your name servers for all of your domain names. The name servers you'll use are NS1.BLUEHOST.COM - 74.220.195.31 and NS2.BLUEHOST.COM - 69.89.16.4.
Go back the Bluehost cPanel to add all of your existing domains to the Bluehost hosting plan. To do this, scroll down to the 'Add on' icon and click on it. Add the name of your domains, one at a time.
Use the FTP application of your choice (popular ones are Filezilla and Cute FTP) to upload your website files to your Bluehost hosting.

How to Set Up a Network Domain (6 Steps)

Choose a desirable name for your domain based on the purpose of your webpages. The top domain registry service in the U.S. is Network Solutions. At the Network Solutions site or the site of another domain registry service, search for available domain names.
Acquire the desired domain name (either for free or for a fee) from the present owner of the domain name.
Register the domain name with the domain registration service or registrar.
If you do not have a Web server, get a free or paid Web-hosting service online. There are thousands of providers from which to choose. The Web-hosting service provides an Internet Protocol (IP) address for the server that will host your Web domain.
Inform the registrar that registered your domain name of the new IP address of your server or the host Web server.
Now your domain name and server information are registered together. When you type in the Internet address of your network domain into a browser, your computer will communicate with the client server. In turn, the client server will send your webpages over the Internet for your computer to display in the Web browser.

How to Start a Clothing Store With Only Four Thousand Dollars

Purchase a website domain, hosting service and shopping cart system that allows you to upload products. This will cost you about $100 plus about $15 per month for web hosting. Hire a web designer to create an attractive e-commerce website design for your new online clothing store. This will likely be one of your most expensive expenditures---expect to pay at least $500-$1,000 for a good web designer. (See 'Resources' below for a site where you can find more on hosting services.)
Apply for a merchant account that can be linked to your website to accept credit card payments from your customers. You can also open a P.O. box and list it on your website to accept check and money order sales from your customers. The initial fee to open a merchant account will be around $100. You will also pay a monthly service fee of about $20 to $30. A post office box will cost about $50 per year. (See 'Resources' for more on merchant accounts.)
Determine the type of clothes that you want to sell in your new clothing store. You can focus on a small niche (such as goth wear) or choose to offer a department-store type of selection for your customers, including men, women, juniors and children.
Next, find a clothing distributor who will drop ship individual orders to your customers (see 'Resources' below for a site where you can find these companies). This way you won't have to pay anything upfront--you only pay the distributor when you receive an order from the customer. You act as a middleman. So let's say you receive an order from your customer. You take the customer's money, then forward payment to the distributor, who will arrange to ship the clothing from the distributor warehouse directly to the customer's home. You might be charged a small initial fee to start this type of arrangement with the distributor. You can also use clothing that you have manufactured yourself, but the investment in clothing, sewing equipment or a manufacturer to make your clothes will likely cause you to exceed your initial budget of $4,000.
Once your website is designed, upload your chosen clothing pieces to your website. Categorize your products by type (for example, purses, shirts, jeans, dresses, elegant wear, men's and women's). The only investment here will be time, unless you choose to hire someone to take care of this task.
Publish your clothing store online. Your final investment will be in generating web traffic to your online clothing store. Hire an SEO marketing firm to take care of the content for your site to draw in hits from search engines. You can find good SEO help for about $500 to $1,000 per month. Place ads with Google Adwords, which will cost you $5 to set up. You will then set your budget for how much you want to spend each month for ads.

How to Create a Logo Contest

Write a list of elements required for the logo design, including company name, size, colors, use, and target audience.
Decide where to host the logo contest. Choose a personal or organizational website if self-hosting. Contact a web designer to create a logo-contest page if one is not available.

Include the terms on payment delivery and ownership or publication rights.
Ask a webmaster to post the logo-design contest on the host website. Develop an online contact form to accept submissions. Indicate on the form the maximum file size and formats accepted. Disable the contest submission form at the end of the contest.
Submit your contest page to the top search engines. Promote your contest using the social medias, reciprocal links, blog posts, PPC marketing (pay-per-click), email campaigns, and word-of-mouth. (see Tips).

How to Hold a Baby Contest

Decide what type of baby contest you will be holding. Most baby contests are 'beautiful baby' contests, but other options include best smile, cutest personality and best sleeping picture. The contest can also be segregated into different ages and award prizes to boys and girls.
Reserve the space you will need for the baby contest. Spaces that are common to hold a baby contest include carnivals, local fairs, parks or schools.
Determine the entry fee of the contest, the photo sizes that will be accepted, what prizes will be awarded, how many prizes will be awarded and how many contestants you will accept. You will also need to choose a starting and ending time for the event.
Announce the event to the public through flyers, mailers and social media. If you are coordinating the event to coincide with another event, such as a local fair, then have the fair committee list the baby contest on the website or flyer for the fair. Make sure that the announcement lists the due date for photo entries.
Set up a booth on the day of the contest. Each photo will need to be attached to a bowl or container large enough to accommodate the photo and change to use for voting. Place numbers or names on the container so voters can identify the different babies.
Hang a sign on the front of the booth using tape or string. The sign should announce the baby contest, the times open for voting and the procedure to vote. The procedure to vote could be one cent equals one vote. For example, one penny would count as one vote for the baby, while a quarter would count as 25 votes for the baby.
Count the votes once the contest ends and announce the winner. If there is a stage available, call the winner on stage and award the baby or its mother or father the prize.
